SWANSONG are a high quality - female fronted - four piece Rock / R 'n B covers band based in South Yorkshire. Since their formation in January 2009, the band have developed their choice of songs to give a "full on" night of rock and blues. Delivered uniquely with the twin leads of Karen Gilmore's passion filled vocals and Wayne Bennett's blistering guitar, backed by the rock solid rhythm section of Jonathan Evers on Drums and Nigel Smith on bass.

This bands set lists are not like all the others. SWANSONG deliberately mix well known favouries, with songs that you will not hear other bands do, to which they then add their own special and distinctive stamp. From Led Zeppelin to Sheryl Crow, from Jeff Healey and Gary Moore to Norah Jones.

SWANSONG - THE FUNCTION BAND will have you dancing. From Aretha Franklin to The Beatles, from Duffy to Sam Cooke. And the band is happy to take special requests for songs (with prior notice) to make your event extra special and personal to YOU.

SWANSONG - Acoustic, will take you through a very different evening of laid back acoustic/piano and vocals.
